Since starting graphic design, I’ve found a growing interest in digital illustration and love incorporating illustrated elements into my design projects whenever I get the chance.
I enjoy exploring bold, vibrant colour combinations and blending them with realistic elements—especially in portrait work.
J. Cole Sticker Set
For this school project, I was prompted to “design a set of stickers for J. Cole and try organic styling.” I drew inspiration from images of J. Cole as well as his lyrics and quotes, using them as a base for the sticker designs.
To fulfil the organic aspect of the prompt, I worked with an earthy, organic colour palette and incorporated freeform shapes to create a natural, grounded look.
Jane Austen Book Covers
For this assignment, we were asked to redesign a set of classic books with a modern aesthetic, ensuring each cover looked unique while still clearly belonging to the same series.
I chose three of Jane Austen’s most well-known novels and created custom illustrations for each cover, drawing inspiration from images of the main characters in the film adaptations.
To give the series a fresh, contemporary feel, I used a clean sans serif typeface paired with a soft pastel colour palette that ties the set together visually.
